Arrive Thailand later than expected.
Proceed to take Thailand public Transport.
In Singapore we call it MRT. In Thailand, not only MRT, they have MRT, BTS, Airport Rail-link and etc other different name for different routes.
Empty Airport Rail-lik Platform - 10-11pm at Thailand
The "MRT" at Suvarnabhumi Airport are called Airport Rail-link
The station and route line of Airport Rail-Link
Blur??? Dont worry, they have English word for the Station
Zoom-in Version, can see better?
The Apartment we going to stay are somewhere within Makkasan area.
How the Train look like in Thailand
Arrive at alight at Makkasan Station, due to time concern and the fact that I am not sure how to transfer from Makkasan to Rama 9, we opt for taking taxi to our apartment from Makkasan Station. We proceed to the Taxi area with the help of the Signboard.
Taxi waiting area
Some other view from Taxi waiting area
There 2 staff at the Taxi Waiting area, if you dont know any Thai Language, it best to print out a Hard-copy of the address where you staying and show the staff. Through the help of the staff, we wait at the waiting area, after they call for a taxi.
Apparently the staff also written down the plate number or some other admin stuff of their own.(All in Thai, but can tell that it for plate number, location and some other ??? stuff)
Things to take notes:
No need to pay money to the staff at the Station that help you call taxi.
Picture taken inside the Taxi toward our Apartment.
It take about 10 minutes to reach our apartment though there some confuse as our apartment situate at a location that the Driver dont know the exact location.
Nonetheless we reach the Apartment with the Apartment Owner help(through calling, we have the owner number) and proceed to our room.
Below are picture of how our Room look like.(By the time I take picture we already semi-settle in the room)
See the computer? We can use it whenever we want.
The apartment we stay overall was real good, air-conditional, got fans(who the hell use it anyway?), got computer and TV(I dont watch TV, and there barely any channel, no idea how to use it), there a wardrobe to put our stuffs, there a refrigerator, a microwave, a semi kitchen with simple kitchen set-up, bowls, plates, utensil, cups.
After settle down and change to a more casual and comfort wear, we went to nearby area to explore, due to the fact that my sister is hungry.
